PRICING
Special Occasion Makeup (Mon–Sat): $190 per person | Lashes included | $90 deposit
Special Occasion Makeup (Sunday): $220 per person | Lashes included | $100 deposit
Bridal Trial: $220 | 50% deposit = $110
Bridal Wedding Day: Price on application | 50% deposit to secure date | Up to 7 people
1:1 Glam Lesson: $500 | 50% deposit = $250
1:1 MUA Mentoring: $600 | 50% deposit = $300
All prices include GST and are subject to change without notice.
PAYMENT METHODS
Eftpos: Accepted | 2% surcharge applies
Cash: Accepted | No surcharge
Afterpay (via Square): Accepted | 7% surcharge applies
→ Mon–Sat via Afterpay: $203.30 (paid in full, no deposit required)
→ Sunday via Afterpay: $235.40 (paid in full, no deposit required)
American Express (Amex): Not accepted
DEPOSITS
Standard appointments (Mon–Sat & Sunday): $100 non-refundable deposit required to confirm booking.
Bridal bookings: 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure both the trial and wedding date.
1:1 Glam Lesson & MUA Mentoring: 50% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking.
Afterpay bookings: Paid in full upfront — no separate deposit required.
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows. Deposits cannot be transferred to another date or another client. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to the appointment by emailing makeupbysemone@gmail.com.
All booking deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of the reason for cancellation. In the event of a no-show, the full deposit is forfeited and no reschedule will be offered without a new deposit. Bridal booking cancellations within 30 days of the wedding date will forfeit the full deposit. If Sem needs to cancel due to illness or emergency, a full deposit refund or reschedule will be offered.
GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are paid in full at the time of purchase. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances. Any remaining balance after a service cannot be refunded as cash but may be applied to a future booking. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced. Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
BRIDAL BOOKINGS
A bridal trial ($220) is required before a wedding day booking is confirmed. A 50% deposit secures both the trial and the wedding date. Sem can cater for up to 7 people in a bridal party. For parties larger than 7, please email makeupbysemone@gmail.com. Travel fees apply for on-location services and are confirmed at the time of booking. Bridal party pricing is quoted individually based on group size.
1:1 LESSONS & MENTORING
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all 1:1 bookings ($250 for the Glam Lesson, $300 for MUA Mentoring). Sessions are held at Le Beau Studio, Cannon Hill by appointment only. Cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance. The deposit is non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation. All intellectual property, techniques, and materials shared during sessions remain the property of Semone Ricardo and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.
ALLERGIES & SKIN CONDITIONS
You are required to notify Semone Ricardo prior to any appointment of any known allergies, skin conditions, sensitivities, or contagious illness. Makeup services will not be performed if a client presents with a contagious sickness or infection. Makeup by Sem will not be held responsible for any reactions arising from undisclosed conditions.
BEHAVIOUR & SERVICE CONDITIONS
Makeup by Sem reserves the right to refuse service to any client who displays inappropriate, abusive, or threatening behaviour. If service is refused due to behaviour, the booking fee will not be refunded. Clients must arrive on time — late arrivals may result in reduced service time with no adjustment to the fee. Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin unless otherwise advised. Extra guests are not permitted at the studio unless prior arrangement has been made.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Makeup by Sem accepts no liability for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings at the studio. Website content is subject to change without notice. Reproduction of website content or branding is prohibited without written consent.
